Toyota North American Headquarters

The Toyota headquarters sits on a 100-acre corporate campus in northwest Plano. The site was designed to create a variety of spaces for passive and active endeavors to serve the campus employees. The campus core features multiple courtyards for dining, events, and vehicle displays. Water features animate outdoor terraces at two different levels, and open turf areas allow for spontaneous or organized recreation. Health and wellness is encouraged through a network of concrete sidewalks and decomposed granite trails weaving throughout the campus for walking and running. Twenty-five acres of native grasses and wildflowers and drought-tolerant native plantings have been used on-site to reduce the amount of irrigated turf. Stormwater runoff from the parking garages is being captured in 40 large cisterns and used to irrigate the site.
