As Midlothian offers companies opportunities from advanced manufacturing to distribution, a surge in industrial parks is not far off. Pacheco Koch was contracted to perform services for the Midlothian Business Park, providing civil engineering and land surveying for approximately 200 acres. Phase one involved developing the infrastructure for a proposed development of 10 buildings, totaling one million square feet, with 7,000 linear feet of roadway. With many challenges, the firm coordinated with several outside entities such as the Trinity River Authority, City of Midlothian, Midlothian Economic Development, BNSF Railroad, and TxDOT.
