Scott has more than 21 years of experience solving challenging drainage issues and managing complex hydrologic and hydraulic study and design projects. He specializes in stormwater design and analysis, detention design, stream restoration and bank stabilization, floodplain reclamation and feasibility, river hydraulics, and bridge hydraulics. Scott is also experienced with major thoroughfare and closed system neighborhood storm drain improvement projects and is known for developing efficient and cost-effective drainage improvement project alternatives.
Scott has served as project manager for many projects that included rural and urban drainage design, surface and underground stormwater detention facilities, bridge and culvert design, natural and modular block channel design, unsteady hydraulic modeling, and FEMA buyouts. He is also experienced in public involvement and building consensus among project stakeholders.
